Pictures	Name of simple machines	Definition	Purpose & characteristics
	wedge	An object that has one thick end and the opposite end having an thin edge, that is driven between two objects.	Purpose-Used to stop certain objects that needs assistance to be stopped such as a door. Characteristics-thick end and thin edge kind of like an right triangle.
	lever	A rigid bar resting on a pivot used to help move a heavy or firmly fixed load with one end and pressure  applied to the other.	Purpose-lift an heavy load or object. Characteristics- A stick shaped pole or pole shaped stick with a fulcrum under it.
	Screw	A short, slender sharp pointed metal pin with a raised helical thread running around it and a slotted head used to join things.	Purpose- To join things together Characteristics- Small, sharp pointed and has round dents.
	Pulley	A wheel with a grooved rim around which a cord passes it acts to change the direction of a force applied to the cord.	Purpose- To help pull things up or help pull them down Characteristics- Sometimes two circles but mostly one with rope or cord around it
	Gear	One of a set of toothed wheels that work together to alter the relation between the speed of an driving mechanism.	Purpose- To help move some objects for a long time. Characteristics- A circle shaped object some small and some big with small or large spikes to connect with one another
	Wheel and axle	A device used of an consist of a grooved wheel turned by an object with a rigidly attached axle.	Purpose- To help move objects while rolling. Characteristics-wheel or tire connected to a pole moving the same direction.
	Inclined	A sloped ramp used to help push object onto an higher platform	Purpose- To help lift or pull objects onto an higher platform. Characteristics- Ramp can be long or short but faced upward toward higher platform.

This is my first blog.I figured out what a blog was when I was in the 6th grade.I learned what a blog was off of a movie I was watching and the man explained what he was doing on a computer.Before I watched that movie i didnt know what a blog was but I have heard of it.  I thought a blog was a website for people who wanted to starte their own company buissness and such. But everysince I started my first blog at tri-cities highschool its been very fun. I have told my mom and aunt what a blog was because they have never heard of one before and i realize that blogging can change people lives.

Good and Bad blog

This picture above is my good picture and what is happening is that the lady in the white shirt/dress is having a good day because her old colony is mennonites.The young lady name was Bolivia.The date this happened was October 4, 2010.When Bolivia was young she was a victim of sexual assault.When she became a teenager she was using alchohol and drugs until she was arrested.When she was released from jail her family advised her to go to bible school for adults and children who was also reflected an eagerness to learn.almost 300 student came then 500 came at closing.So Bolivia finished school and when she finished she attended college for 5 years. after she graduated college she opened her own buissness.

This picture above is the bad one.In this picture there is a gang riot going on in the country of south africa.this fight aventually ended when 100's of innocent people and gang members died the police came and ended the fight.Nobody never figured out who or what strarted the riot but the police said it will never happen again.

3rd segment

What I learned from segment 3 is thet there are alot of ways to set up your page.there are other things you can set up such as the settings and the desighn.when you set up the desighn you can set it up in patterns,lines,boxes,nature,love,emotional and many many other ways.all those ways is how you set up your background.you can also set up the settings and other things such as the lay out and you can upgrade the text and the text font. some more things you can do is choose what color you want the wall background and the text font to be and other things. the colors can be any way you want them to be and you can have the colors in pattern or solid ways.there is lots of more ways you can have your page like you can change your name to what you want it to be. you can have smiley faces and money sighns and other special texts in your name or any where else.that is what I learned from the 3rd segment.

2nd segment

What I learned from the Technology Turbine project is that it can be used in lots of places other than cities that has lots of birds.I also learned that a wind turbine can conduct electricity. A wind turbine is used in alot of countries and states .this is the main thing I learned about a wind turbine,when the wind blow hard enough to move the blades on the wind turbine,it moves the main shaft which also moves the generator to generate electricity.A wind turbine can only be in certain cities because if a bird or any other object was jammed on the inside it could damage the wind turbine.Most wind turbine are hundreds of feet in the air so that trees and huge rocks couldnt block the wind and it could get a perfect wind signal.Te way that the wind turbine relate to the technology sectors is that they look the same and they work the same.
